**Job Summary**
- Dal Innovates and Lab2Market (L2M) work support the development, validation, and advancement of novel tech-based innovations developed within Dalhousie and academic institutions in the Atlantic region. Reporting to the Associate Director, the Project Manager develops and manages the Collide program, Scientist2Entrepreneur, entrepreneurship breakfast series, and Dal Innovates community events with the focus of building a culture of innovation at Dal. The Project Manager also acts as a project consultant to execute the Lab2Market and the Ready2Launch Summer Accelerator, and supports the Associate Director as a project manager on special projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Program design and delivery for twice annual 8-week Collide and Scientist2Entrepreneur programs from recruitment to post program team engagement.
- Provide consultation services and support to the Lab2Market and Ready2Launch Managers to develop and execute the project plans for Lab2Market and Ready2Launch Accelerators respectively.
- Develop and manage budget in collaboration with Associate Director and Financial Manager.
- Stakeholder engagement and management for internal Dalhousie contacts including the Sandboxes, Marcoms, VPRI, OCIE and ideaHUB for program execution and team recruitment.
- Develop and support internal and external marketing campaigns. Execution of inbound and outbound marketing campaign strategy and tactics.

**Note**
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.
Dalhousie’s vaccine mandate has been suspended at this time, and employees no longer need to provide proof of full vaccination. However, health and safety risks to our community will continue to be monitored and a vaccine mandate may be reinstated if necessary.

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree with experience in an applied field such as life sciences, computer science or engineering, and a combination of business and project management experience, plus approximately three to five years’ related experience ( or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Industry experience and connections to start-ups, executives, and investors.
- Experience with, and facilitation of, start-up methodologies including Lean, and Disciplined Entrepreneurship.
- Project management across multiple sites and stakeholders.
- Experience with similar responsibilities which require multi-tasking, adapting quickly, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, being able to regularly collaborate and adapt
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
