**Position: Human Resources Generalist (REMOTE)**

**Position summary**:
**Location**

**Areas of responsibility**:

- Client Services_

Manage and execute client’s HR and Leadership Development activities including but not limited to:

- Lead recruitment initiatives to hire talent and administer talent assessments for client organizations.
- Analyze client organizations’ existing HR practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Support HR projects and initiatives such as employee engagement surveys, culture assessments and organizational development efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR employment policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Analyze data from employee surveys and interviews to provide recommendations for organizational improvements.
- Review and revamp client HR policy manuals to comply with relevant labour legislation.
- Facilitate succession planning and talent reviews in alignment with client talent management goals and objectives.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information and HR-related matters.
- Other projects as assigned.
- Internal Responsibilities_
- Direct work of vendors in consultation with the Owner.
- Create internal employee engagement pulse survey for staff feedback.
- Lead customer net promoter score analysis and recommendations for improvements.
- Establish human resources procedures and policies internal for business.
- Lead internal recruitment efforts as required.
- Recruit and retain book of business for Human Resource consulting through proactive outreach, attending networking events, and establishing relationships.
- Analyze staff billable and nonbillable utilization rates and perform workforce planning resource requirements.
- Other projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Human Resources or Commerce preferred.
- 5-10 years of HR experience.
- Occupational health and safety experience.
- Consulting experience is an asset.

**Required Competencies**

- Bilingual (preferred, but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High attention to detail; and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent ethics; to maintain client confidentiality.
- Self-driven, ability to work well independently.
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with multiple engaging client projects.
- Knowledgeable about HR consulting; employment and labour legislation.
