**What you will do**:
Reporting to the TPA Finance Supervisor, the Accounting Technician is responsible for the following:

- Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring proper support for bank transactions is provided and using professional judgement to identify any unusual transactions requiring additional investigation or support
- Calculate, analyze, and process carrier premium remittances and broker commissions on time and accurately
- Record vendor and client payments, revenue and other journal entries in accounting system
- Prepare payroll export files, complete reconciliations and investigate account receivables, as needed
- Complete claims funding requests to carriers and intercompany transfers to replenish funds, ensuring that funds are received and allocated appropriately
- Prepare reconciliations and analysis accurately and on time
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of the processes related to assigned tasks and suggest improvements
- Other ad-hoc tasks, as required

**What you will bring**:

- Previous finance-related experience is an asset
- Post-secondary education in accounting/business administration is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
