**Job Purpose**:
We are seeing an experienced Class 1Driver to join our Metals team based in Peace River.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Comply with all jurisdiction traffic safety legislation.
- You will safely operate various units, including but not limited to roll off truck, tractor & trailer, self loader, etc.
- You will abide by all Secure and customer locations safety procedures.
- You will ensure all bins are safely placed in proper locations and tracked as per tracking system.
- You will inspect all materials to ensure that they are in compliance, as per paperwork.
- You will work Monday to Friday and must be willing to work overtime.
- You will be able to communicate effectively daily with the Dispatch to maximize customer needs and SECURE’s efficiency.
- You will assist with operations at the facility.

**Qualifications/Competencies**
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience in the transportation industry or demonstrated competency.
- Solid knowledge base with respect to Hours of Service, Load Securement and Driving Regulations.
- Solid understanding of Canadian geography, highway systems and rules.
- Preference is for a Class 1 Driver with equipment experience.
