**What you’ll do**:

- Construction, installation, and repair of Broadband infrastructure including repairing or replacing faulty cables, installing broadband electronics, replacing faulty broadband electronics, etc.
- Perform required work on both coaxial and fibre optic cables
- Use advanced equipment to conduct signal leakage monitoring and broadband forward and reverse sweeps as required
- Provide Westman customers with a positive experience regarding equipment and services
- Perform all work in accordance with quality control guidelines and company policies and procedures

**What you’ll bring to the team**:

- Minimum grade 12 education
- 2-year Electronic Technician course or NCTI, SCTE System and Service Technician courses or SCTE Broadband Distribution Specialist Certification, with a minimum mark of 80% in each course
- Experience in installation and repair of electronics or networks is considered an asset
- Experience in residential wiring or construction is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work with the public in a customer focused environment; customer service experience is considered an asset
- Ability to understand fibre optic/broadband maps and understand of construction wiring practices
- Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude
- Valid certification in Basic Rescuer CPR and Emergency First Aid
- Must have no fear of heights and be able to carry 75 lbs
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to work shifts, to be on-call, and available for emergency service
