We are seeking a part time or full time Bookkeeper/Accountant that has several years of applicable experience. Casual atmosphere, energetic, a smaller team where every member is a key part of the team.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly statements, including balance sheet, profit & loss and cash flow
- Preparation, filing and payment of government remittances
- Reconcile and maintain general ledger and control accounts.
- Maintain bank accounts including preparation and maintenance of bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post monthly general journal entries including accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset depreciation.
- Assist in preparation of annual financial statement audit.
- Payroll
- Assistance with BOM and labour analysis for our vehicles
- Assist with special projects and analysis as required.
Qualifications include:
- Extensive experience or education in an accounting/bookkeeper position. Minimum 3-5 years.
- Proficiency with Excel
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and perform at a high level of accuracy
- Must be detail oriented, analytical, problem solver and creative thinker
- Prior experience with SAP Business One and Grandmaster payroll would be an asset

- Bookkeeping\Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
