Part-time Budtender

Cannabis Cannabis is a retail cannabis store based in downtown Stratford.

We see ourselves as a kinder way to cannabis, kinder to the planet that grows it and kinder to the people that consume it.

We are sustainably driven with a focus on design and knowledge on all things cannabis. Everything we do from purchasing products to designing our clothing is done with extreme thought and precision from industry leaders. We have spent many sleepless nights designing our brand and the experience in our store to be different from the others. We want to educate and make our staff and customers as comfortable as possible. From the moment you see our storefront you will immediately enter into the story we have created. We are looking for staff who appreciate design, architecture, fashion and cannabis. We do not settle for mediocrity we strive to be different.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Must operate with honesty and integrity at all times
- Must have a passion for serving people
- Welcome all customers and make them feel comfortable
- Guide customers through a consultative process to allow them to make product selections that are right for them
- Handle cash, debit and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Ensure the safety and security of customers and colleagues by observing established protocols
- Deter theft and report suspicious behaviour to management immediately
- Comprehend and abide by all Municipal, Provincial, and Federal laws relating to the sale and use of Cannabis
- Meet or exceed goals as set out by Management
- Possess the aptitude and desire to constantly grow your cannabis knowledge
- Foster a Positive and pleasant team environment

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Must Be 19 years of age or older
- Possess the ability to de-escalate negative situations and turn them into positives with clients and colleagues
- Have customer service, sales or retail experience
- Have cash handling experience
- Be enthusiastic and positive
- A passion for Cannabis and learning
- Reliable and available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Willing to obtain Cansell Certificate

Pay: $18.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
