Paralegal

Patry Group of Companies is seeking a talented and motivated Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will work closely with all departments to provide support in a variety of legal matters. You will be responsible for assisting with the drafting and review of legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing general support to our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the drafting and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and leases
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various legal issues
- Provide general support to all departments in all legal matters
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Attend meetings with clients, lawyers, and other parties as required
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing and record-keeping
- Participate in negotiations and mediation as required
- Assist with the management of litigation and disputes

Qualifications:

- Paralegal diploma or certificate from a recognized program
- 3+ years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate environment
- Focus/specialty with the Landlord Tenant Board and Real Estate
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to the business operations of a company
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively
