**Shipping & Receiving; Wood Pallet/Crate Builder**

Crosslink Laminates Inc. is a family operated, fast growing company. We manufacture a variety of fiberglass parts and ship around the world. Position is permanent and full-time hours are 6:00 am
- 3:30 pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 6:00 am to 10:00 am with some overtime if needed.

We are seeking a pallet builder and shipper/receiver with attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Primary responsibility will be building wood crates, shipping & receiving, and cataloguing parts. You will be working with wood, building wood pallets, and crating finished product as well as clerically keeping track of product for shipping and keeping the yard clean and organized. Lead hand will direct time management and priority tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Following all company values, policies, and procedures
- Weighing parts and building appropriate crates in which to ship product
- Fastening parts to crates with the use of an impact drill and nail gun
- Using various hand tools and saws
- Cataloguing parts
- Using forklift, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange parts and material accordingly
- Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct material has been received
- Inspecting material for any damages or discrepancies
- Organizing incoming raw material into appropriate places for storage
- Maintaining communication with office staff
- Keeping yard of finished product organized
- Keeping the factory floor neat and clean
- Ensuring physical working spaces meet and exceed company health and safety standards
- Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment and practicing safety procedures effectively.
- Cross-training available.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, efficient, willing to learn, effective communication skills, responsible
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Forklift and woodworking experience an asset

Will require steel-toed work boots, we supply all other Personal Protective Equipment.

Full-time permanent position starts at $20/hour. We provide a learning environment, so it is essential you are a good communicator. If you are responsible, self-motivated, able to work independently, and have a good attitude then this job is for you.
