**Metso**: Outotec Tactical Sourcing Specialist.

You will be part of the Americas Tactical Sourcing team and will be involved in supporting the SVS product lines mainly focusing on GBP to ensure we obtain best possible conditions for the material required.

**In your role, you will**:
Prepare request for quotations (RFQ) to send to suppliers in the Jaggaer system.
Handle complex assemblies.
Assist with Projects, proposals, and ETO quote requests.
Collaborate with engineering.
Ensure to closely follow up supplier response to RFQ to meet targeted Turn around Times.
Based on screening, prioritize preferred suppliers, and ensure to understand supplier’s capacity and capabilities well.
Make decisive decisions when selecting suppliers based on Price, Leadtime and other key factors.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the team when required.
Maintain Purchase Info Record and Material Mater data in SAP.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration or Engineering.
Your Strong ability to read drawings and understand mechanical aspects will be an asset.
An understanding of the crushing business line or similar would be a very strong asset.
You have a strong proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
You have excellent customer service skills and independence (can freely call suppliers without close supervision).
You can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as well as being a team player ready to support your colleagues.
You have strong communication skills, written and verbal.
You have strong organizational skills and can prioritize and work independently.
You have strong attention to detail and can meet deadlines, multitask, and balance various assignments.
You can manage high volume and high pace demand.
You have SAP experience (preferred).
