Oakville, Canada Kelly Music Studio Full time

Kelly Music Studio is an prizing winning studio located in Oakville. We teach student at competitive levels, and prepare them for Festivals and RCM exams. Currently, we are at capacity and can no longer accommodate the waiting list. We are looking to hire enthusiastic, responsible individuals to join us and teach on a Kawaii grand piano.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual piano class in an one on one setting
- Create and implement lesson plans based on curriculum guidelines
- Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Collaborate with managers to share students progress

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills with young children as well as parents on mutual understanding of expectations
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Qualifications:

- University Degree in Music Performance/Education or equivalent
- Familiar with RCM exam system
- Successful teaching experience will be asset

As an Instructor, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education. Your responsibilities will include conducting classes, working on their assignments as well as teaching new materials within the assigned schedule. You will need excellent communication skills, the ability to engage and motivate students, and strong organizational skills. This position requires experience working with students, as well as proficiency in lesson planning and excellent time management ability. **Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
