**Job Overview**
Provides the key client relationship to a major client or clients through relationships with executives and leaders in the client organization in a part of a large or mid-sized market or part of a large region. Grows revenue by leveraging the full IQVIA offerings and identifying new business opportunities.

**Essential Functions**
- Understands the key priorities of the client to achieve or exceed the assigned revenue and growth goals in assigned account(s) or sales territory.
- Based on long term relationship with client, acts as advisor on marketing, market research, sales management, industry issues, trends and IQVIA product, consulting and service capabilities.
- Anticipates clients’ needs and, in collaboration with IQVIA marketing, sales specialists, consulting and client service, develops and presents proposed solutions to client's complex business issues.
- Identifies and leads the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned account(s).
- Typically interfaces with marketing, market research, sales management and/or IT at the executive level in existing and prospective client(s).
- Represents the company to the client and the client to the company in all sales related activities.
- Monitors client satisfaction with contracted deliverables and works with sales management team and Client Service’s management to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Effectively manages renewals and subscriptions.
- As required, may participate in contract renewal efforts on large contracts.
- Mentors less experienced members of sales team on selling, account management and negotiations skills.
- Proactively works with global and regional account management in the pursuit of multi-country opportunities.
- Takes a proactive role in contract strategy.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Five (5) years relevant sales or account management experience and/or solution sales management experience preferred

**Fonctions essentielles**
- Comprend les priorités clés du client pour atteindre ou dépasser les objectifs de revenus et de croissance attribués dans le (s) compte (s) ou le territoire de vente attribué.
- Sur la base d’une relation à long terme avec le client, agit en tant que conseiller sur le marketing, les études de marché, la gestion des ventes, les problèmes de l’industrie, les tendances et les capacités de produits, de conseil et de service IQVIA.
- Anticipe les besoins des clients et, en collaboration avec IQVIA marketing, spécialistes des ventes, conseil et service à la clientèle, développe et présente des solutions proposées aux problèmes d’affaires complexes du client.
- Identifie et dirige la poursuite des nouvelles opportunités d’expansion commerciale et contractuelle ciblées dans le (s) compte (s) attribué (s).
- S’interface généralement avec le marketing, les études de marché, la gestion des ventes et / ou l’informatique au niveau de la direction dans les clients existants et potentiels.
- Représente l’entreprise auprès du client et le client auprès de l’entreprise dans toutes les activités liées à la vente.
- Surveille la satisfaction des clients à l’égard des livrables contractuels et travaille avec l’équipe de gestion des ventes et la direction du service à la clientèle pour atteindre et maintenir un niveau élevé de satisfaction de la clientèle.
- Gère efficacement les renouvellements et les abonnements.
- Au besoin, peut participer aux efforts de renouvellement de contrat sur les grands contrats.
- Encadre les membres moins expérimentés de l’équipe de vente sur les compétences de vente, de gestion de compte et de négociation.
- Travaille de manière proactive avec la gestion des comptes mondiaux et régionaux dans la poursuite d’opportunités multi-pays.
