The Cashroom Supervisor is responsible for all receiving, distribution, and maintenance of cash on the property of both YYZ (Toronto Pearson) and YTZ (Billy Bishop). This is an on-site position.

**Description**
- Responsible for the management of the property safe including petty cash, cash drawers, and any/all monies to be deposited in the bank.
- Responsible for cash audits, perform weekly audits in YYZ and at least bi-weekly in YTZ.
- Supervise Cashroom Clerks.
- Responsible for maintenance and cash balance of Glory safes. Ensure weekly maintenance is performed in accordance with set standards.
- Follow all property procedures involving any cash entering or leaving the cash room
- Prepare bank deposits, change orders, and reconcile cash daily from prior days business. Reconciliation of deposits with amounts received in the bank on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for accurately reconciling daily cash and vouchers of sales associates through Lynx BM, reporting variances, if any and closing the week on Lynx BM as per set weekly deadline.
- Notify GM and/or Unit controller immediately about any cash discrepancies
- Follow and prepare all required paperwork for financial reporting as dictated by UC
- Follow all safety and security procedures as dictated by SSP company guidelines and airport guidelines about handling, transporting, and storing cash
- Keep Cashroom area clean and organized
- Maintain supply levels for all necessary items
- Prepare, order, and receive change orders from the bank in accordance with property standards.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director or Operations/ Regional Controller.

**Skills and Other Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years cash handling experience with progressive responsibility
- Bank Teller experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Confidentiality
- Problem solving, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Food service/restaurant experience (preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or working towards degree (preferred)
- Ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes
- Ability to deal with high stressful situations
- Exercise sound judgment and decision making
- Flexible schedule as business demands. Regular office attendance required
