IT Generalist

The position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to key individuals at different locations in an efficient and professional manner. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting IT, Audio, and various technical systems and ensuring a positive end user experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage Windows and Linux servers for user services and basic infrastructure tasks.
- Able to travel to various properties to provide on-site technical assistance.
- Perform daily operational tasks for internet-facing infrastructure, including DNS, SMTP, and FTP.
- Manage and troubleshoot user workstation issues and provide remote support.
- Support operational processes related to Microsoft 365 - Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
- Implement and maintain basic security practices, firewall, and antivirus solutions.
- VPN remote access user addition and troubleshoot issues.
- Troubleshoot server, workstation, and network issues.
- Review and escalate tickets to appropriate teams or third-party support carriers and vendors.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel and/or 3rd parties.
- Manage and renew SSL certificates and maintain basic server warranty records.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience working with Windows and Linux in a business environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good experience and knowledge with Apple devices, tablets, and their APPS
- Basic knowledge of Linux OS and common services such as DNS, HTTPS, SMTP, and FTP.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPN, and basic networking concepts.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Basic knowledge of IT architectures and technologies.
- Good knowledge of Audio and Video devices connectivity and Bluetooth pairing
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, English & French spoken and written.
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
- Transportation Vehicle a must with valid driver’s license
- Must be able to travel on short notice to different locations in Quebec region.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
