Waste Connections of Canada has immediate openings for a **Yardperson** at our Abbotsford** district**. **Our priority is to give our employees a great paying career with great incentives As a **Yardperson**, you are primarily responsible for tarping rail car containers that are full of waste using fall arrest equipment and keeping the yard clean. You will have the opportunity to grow in this roll learning how to operate a front end loader, skid steer, forklift, and mrf baler. Advancing and learning these other rolls depends on your commitment to our core values starting with safety. This job is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions.

- 7:30 AM Start Time Daily (some weekend work may be required)

**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Follow all safety guidelines
- Tarp rail car containers using fall arrest safety equipment
- Clean the yard, entrance to the yard, equipment, and roadway in front of yard

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Class 5 license
- Transportation to and from work
- Grade 12 or equivalent
