More about the job:
As a sub-contractor, you must use your own vehicle and it can comfortably hold 6-10 dogs for dog transport. You provide your own equipment (we provide a list for you after you are hired).

We provide your clients and offer a supportive team environment with well practiced procedures & protocols for occurrences and bylaws that are specific to our industry. Invoicing is per dog and increases are based on experience and performance.

As a Group Adventure Guide, you will walk a group of up to 6 dogs at a time. You will transport our furry friends, with care, to and from their homes and lead them on fun and safe hikes through the North Shore mountains so they can exercise and socialize with their friends. You can do 1 or 2 or even 3 hikes a day. (Having a small pickup with canopy or cargo van/minivan is recommended but a Hybrid or electric vehicle is ideal to make the most of your wage)

In your cover letter please tell us a bit about yourself:
Are you fluent in English (written and verbal)?

Are you able to do 1, 2 or 3 hikes per day, 1.5 hours each hike (ideally a minimum of 5kms per hike) & able to lift 100lbs?

Do you own a smart phone with a data plan for text and voice communication?

Are you looking for a permanent position with at least a one year commitment? (If you can not commit to a year please let us know why.)

What is your availability and what days and times are you looking for?

Do you have a dog-friendly place or able to house-sit?

There is great opportunity for substantive ancillary income from petsitting/housesitting for our clients

**Salary**: $0 to $93,600.00+/year, depending on how often you want to work, how many jobs you take on and how much you want to contribute to the team
