**The opportunity**:
We are looking for an Speech Language Pathologist to work on a dedicated and knowledgeable team, providing services in Nunavut schools. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting students and the school team to meet the needs of all learners. Out team of SLPs can be based anywhere in Canada but must be flexible to travel to Nunavut and provide ongoing remote follow up to their Nunavut schools.

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic and intervention services to clients with communication disorders in accordance with Canadian Council of Health Facilities Accreditation standards and the Code of Ethics and Rules of the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists

Provides diagnostic and intervention services to children in schools in Rankin Inlet, as well as the other six hamlets of the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut. The incumbent will function as an integral part of the Rehabilitation team and will work closely with families, staff in schools to provide a holistic service to referred clients. The incumbent will effectively manage their own caseload and participate as a member of several teams.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- A Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current registration to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist with good standing in any one province or territory.
- Certification with the Speech-Language and Audiologists Canada (SAC) or eligible for certification.
- Liability Insurance
- Current child abuse registry and criminal record check.
- Experience with preschool and school age children is required
- General clinical experience of two or more years is preferred
