As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Field Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

In this role, you will report directly to the Sr. Trade Marketing Manager and play a vital role in the Marketing Department. Field Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing various marketing strategies to promote and enhance the visibility of our products, services, or brand. You will be responsible for developing and implementing creative and effective event plans and channel activation initiatives to drive engagement, generate demand for our products, and increase brand awareness among the target audience. Your ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, understand market trends, and leverage different communication channels will be essential in achieving success in this role.

**The Field Marketing Specialist will**:
**Event Planning and Execution**:

- Research and identify suitable events, conferences, trade shows, and community gatherings to participate in or sponsor.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define event objectives, themes, and strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, booth design, staffing, sponsorship packages, travel arrangements, and collateral creation.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide post-event evaluations and ROI analysis.

**Channel Activation Strategy**:

- Develop comprehensive channel activation strategies tailored to specific target segments (wholesalers and retailers) and markets (USA and CAN)
- Identify potential partner channels and establish collaborative relationships to amplify the reach and impact of marketing efforts.
- Create compelling content, campaigns, and incentives to engage channel partners, create consumer demand and motivate them to promote our products/services actively.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics to optimize activation efforts and maximize results.

**Marketing Collateral and Content Development**:

- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to produce engaging and relevant marketing collateral for Field Marketing Specialist.
- Ensure all promotional materials are consistent with the brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages to the target audience.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with sales, product, and other teams to align event and activation strategies with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to leverage their expertise and resources for event planning and execution.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Gather data from events and activation initiatives to analyze their impact on brand visibility, lead generation, and revenue generation.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on event performance and channel activation results for management review.

**Market and Competitor Research**:

- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' strategies to ensure a competitive edge in Field Marketing Specialist initiatives.

**To be successful you should have**:

- A bachelor’s degree or college equivalent program in Business with a focus on Marketing and 4 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Experience with marketing agencies and Experiential marketing
- Travel required 50% as needed. (CAN and USA)
- Extremely high attention to detail, critical thinker, and problem solver.
- Curious and stays in tune with the latest marketing innovations and trends.
- Spanish will be considered an asset.
