The Shipper is responsible for receiving and shipping of parts including doing deliveries to customers. Receiving of parts includes correctly receiving them into inventory in our system, locating them correctly in the warehouse and building customer orders. On time deliveries of the correct parts is priority for this position. He/she will accomplish objectives through the use of proper procedures, being detail oriented and working independently.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**

Shipper\Receiver will report to the Parts Manager.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Help monitor and organize inventory to minimize obsolescence and lost parts
- Establish and maintain customer files that include shipping dates, addresses, cores and returns.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is always met for internal and external customers
- Follow all quality control processes and procedures.
- Maintain records of all special-order parts.
- Examine returned parts for defects; exchange defective parts before promising a credit.
- Strive for harmony and teamwork with all coworkers in all departments.
- Receive and fill customer orders, in person or over the telephone in a timely manner.
- Prepare orders for daily shipments, deliveries, or pickup.
- Help to ensure dealership is stocking the correct parts needed for our customers and checking we are re ordering when stock is low.
- Help track any lost sales because of inventory or price issues.
- Must complete and follow up on all jobs before leaving each day to ensure best customer service.
- Complete inventory cycle counts.
- Complete different tasks as required

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Will be trained on the Karmak system.
- Class 5 drivers’ licence
- Forklift License
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong Computer skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
