**Job Overview**:
We are currently in search of a capable and driven Production/Shop Worker to join our team. This role is available for the spring/summer period, with potential for extended placement. As part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program, the individual must meet the specified conditions:
(a) is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
(b) is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act [S.C. 2001, c. 27]*; and
(c) is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.
*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate power tools and hand tools to assemble products according to specifications
- Assist in the fabrication of materials using various mechanical processes
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and shop duties as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with power tools and hand tools in a production or manufacturing environment
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required (training can be provided)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic issues
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Exhibit physical stamina to undertake repetitive tasks and handle heavy objects weighing a minimum of 50lbs.
- Possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team environment.
