Land Analyst

We are currently looking for a number of **Land Analysts **to support our team in **Vaughan, Ontario.**
**The Role**

The Land Analyst will be responsible for the administration of land rights in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and standards. This position involves regular communication with the Analyst Team, Team Lead, Project Coordinator and Management while ensuring timelines are met and files are accurate. The Land Analyst is responsible for committing to LandSolutions' Core Values and Operating Principles, and will conduct work in accordance with department processes, corporate policy and applicable regulatory and legal requirements. The Land Analyst will work in our Vaughan, Ontario office and remotely.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide accurate documentation for the acquisition and maintenance of freehold and crown land
- Opening files on LandTraxx
- Conduct office work as required by Manager
- Setting up LandSolutions hard files and providing the appropriate checklists
- Conducting all appropriate searches (titles, conservation, coal, historical, if necessary)
- Preparing all appropriate documentation under the guidance of the Manager/Team Lead or Project Coordinator
- Prepare field file for land agent and insert appropriate checklists, etc
- Ensure that all checklists, etc. have been completed accurately and perform audits of documents
- Provide weekly status updates and reports to clients and Managers
- Prepare line lists, notifications, and crossings as per regulatory requirements and ensure copies of all are saved in electronic and physical files. Photocopy and scan final packages
- Liaise with third party companies for issuance of third party agreements
- Liaise with government bodies such as CER, MTO, IO, MNR and municipalities
- Remote work available

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma & Land Administration Diploma or Bachelors degree or diploma in planning, environment, administration, business, land, real estate or equivalent
- 5+ Years' experience
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Daily use of company computer
- Good organizational and communication skills including written and verbal
- Ability and interest in learning to schedule time, prioritize and mastering land administration procedures
**Special Job Dimensions**:

- The ability to travel to other offices occasionally
- Some duties may require working under deadlines and time constraints
