**Job description**

The Logistics & Customs Operations Coordinator is responsible for both strategic and tactical execution of the logistics & customs needs for the Holder and Karcher Municipal supply chain in North America.

The Logistics and Customs Coordinator will coordinate with Karcher’s global manufacturing partners, Internal Operations, and Sales team to ensure cost effective, customs compliant, on-time delivery from multiple regions and countries to Karcher warehouses and markets in North America.

The Logistics & Customs Operations Coordinator reports directly to the company President.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day Customs clearance and export process including assignment of US tariff/Schedule
- Own relationship with the Customs
- Perform investigations in response to US and Canadian Customs inquiries
- Proactively monitor all customs activities to facilitate entries
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Spare Parts, Production, and Sales and implement customs/export process improvements
- Review entry documentation, file PSCs, maintain tariff databases
- Supervise transportation and logistics solution services and activities
- Be able to analyze data and use customized software quickly and accurately
- Coordinate of all inbound and outbound, domestic and international freight shipments.
- Create and send load tenders to carriers.
- Expedite deliveries in case of unexpected delays.
- Develop and implement logistics solutions to ensure delivery target is fulfilled
- Manage the KPI of Logistics Service Providers and Customs Brokers
- Review and handle logistics and Customs related payment operations
- Perform other Logistics or import/export duties as necessary

**Experience**:

- 2 - 5 years of experience in cargo tracking, logistics booking, and customs clearance, and international import/export regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain or similar field.
- Knowledge of Customs and transportation laws and regulations.
- Experience ERP is required.
