**Role: SAP BW HANA Consultant**

**Location: Mississauga, ON / Calgary, Alberta / Burnaby, BC**

**Job Details**:

- At least 8+ years of experience in SAP BW HANA projects, including 3+ years’ experience in full-life cycle implementation projects in SAP BW HANA and S4 HANA.
- Expert knowledge on BW HANA, modelling concepts and reporting.
- Prior experience with S4 implementation will be beneficial. Functional knowledge on Order to Cash and Point of Sales.
- Provide best practice in area of BW/HANA implementation on architectural and conceptual level
- Deep understanding of the legacy BW infrastructure and relationship to HANA objects

i) InfoCubes and Multi-providers vs ADSO's and Composite Views

ii) Leveraging BW Info objects for HANA Views w/Hierarchies
- Experience/Understanding of SAP BW migration process from BW 7.4 architecture to BW 7.5 / BW4/HANA objects
- Ability to understand complex requirements and architect end to end Analytics solution comprising of ETL, HANA, reporting components
- Good understanding of HANA data provisioning using SLT, SDI, BODS, real-time replication
- Hands on experience with Calculation views, HANA SQL, security using analytical privilege
- Create architecture and technical design documents to communicate solutions that will be implemented by the development team
- Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems.
- Present solutions and options to leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in SAP HANA modelling and scripting.
- Experience in SAP BW modelling and BEX queries.
- Strong experience on SAP BW on HANA modelling and building end-to-end data flows with A-DSOs, Open ODSs, Composite Provider, AMDP scripting and queries.
- Strong experience in native HANA modelling - CDS, SQL Scripting, Graphical view-modelling, SDA extraction.
- Design, build data flows, develop Process chains to load and monitor data loading.
- Implement performance tuning techniques in SAP BW/HANA.
- Hands-on expertise in Standard and Custom Planning Functions, Planning Sequences, Filters, Data Slices, Characteristic relationships, Currency Translation, Planning Layouts.
- Hands-on experience in creating web templates.
- Good knowledge in ABAP is desirable.
- Self-sufficient, strong SAP Finance, Manufacturing process, CPG Industry functional knowledge.
- Must have worked on minimum one end to end implementation projects in SAP BW/4 HANA using SAP S/4 HANA as source system.
- Must have hands on experience in all areas of SAP BW/4 HANA, which includes Modelling, Extraction (LO, COPA, Finance, Generic extractor), BW reporting.
- S/4 HANA BW/4HANA Integration through ODP ABAP CDS views as Data Provisioning, CDS views experience.
- SAP BW/4 HANA Traditional BW (ADSO, CP etc) plus Native HANA based BW/4 HANA using CDS view on S/4 HANA is expected for project need.
- Must be able to discuss different business teams and prepare functional and technical documents (FDD & TDD), prototyping.
- Experience on SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP BO security concepts, Authorizations, roles, teams and collaborations.
- Customer facing experience, excellent communication skill, stakeholder and escalation management.
- SAP BW/4 HANA hand on experience, BEx reports & CDS view creation in SAP BW/4 HANA
- Must have worked on both SAP BW, S/4 HANA and Non-SAP Data source for consuming data in SAP Analytics Cloud using both Live Data and Import Data connections.
- Experience with SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW4HANA/ HANA Modeling is required.
- ETL and performance tuning experience, including extensive AMDP, as well as ABAP coding of transformations and user exits/BADI implementations
- Experience working with internal and external auditors; gathering and producing required documentation and verbally articulating measures for auditing points.
- Experience working AFS/FMS/Retail systems is highly desired.
- Experience working with Analysis for Office/Webi is required
- Experience working with SAC, Lumira, Crystal Reports, BODS will be a plus
