Job Summary**:MUST HAVE A VALID ONTARIO DRIVERS LISCENCE**
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our Growing team at Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited in Scarborough, ON. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing general upkeep and maintenance tasks in and around our dealership. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, where you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to our success.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a hourly /skilled labor/contractor job with a competitive compensation package of $18 per hour. You will be paid biweekly and have access to our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to: changing light bulbs, fixing doors and windows, hanging shelves and artwork, repairing minor electrical and plumbing issues, and other similar tasks.
- Keep our dealership's facilities and equipment in excellent condition by conducting routine inspections, identifying potential problems, and addressing them in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform minor installations, such as shelving, cabinets, and equipment assembly.
- Assist with set-up and break down for dealership events.
- Respond promptly to work orders and service requests from various departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or handyman role.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and blueprints.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
