**Your Role**

The Regional Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the strategic vision and implementation of sales programs that will generate visitation to the sites from group tour markets, meetings and events, regional community, and tourism. This includes the development and implementation of policies & procedures and billing for the management of the sales programs.

**What You Bring**
- Previous Sales experience with a minimum of two years of experience within the Hospitality or Tourism Industry.
- Diploma or Degree in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, and experience.
- Experience with the development and execution of business, marketing, sales action plans and operating budgets.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle and appropriate insurance for the purpose of using it for work.
- Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff, investors, and owners in a professional manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the reconciliation of the motorcoach arrival commission invoices and payments. Reviews all documents for appropriate charges, responsible for accuracy and clarity of final submission for each Ontario sites.
- Manages the daily processes of Conference Services / Meeting & Event client billing for Casino Rama Resort
- Analyzes territory to identify tour operators, bus companies, group leaders, event organizers, destination marketing organizations, regional tourism partners, businesses and social clubs with a high opportunity for sales growth.
- Analyzes and monitors profitability of all Sales programs.
- Enters contact information into the Sales database, ensures the database is updated and manages the integrity of the database.
- Assists with development and creation of sales program tracking report.
- Identifies and recommends partnership and sponsorship opportunities with regional festivals & events.
- Reviews and processes payment for tour operators and bus company subsidies and Meeting & Events billing for Casino Rama.
- Assists the Sales Coordinator w/daily telephone sales calls
- Manages relationships & daily activity with the VIP Coach service provider / guides.
- Prepares contracts, reviews partnership agreements (M&E and Tour Operator required insurance).
- Prepares quarterly sales summaries, prepares proformas & P&L statements, and competitive analysis.
- Inputs bus group reservations into the Motorcoach Reservation System.
- Shares weekly bus group calendar with sites
- Represents Gateway at approved travel shows and Sales Activation events.
- On occasion provides sales support to AB & B.C. properties
- Additional or different responsibilities or duties which are consistent with the position summary, may be assigned at the discretion of the Manager or Director.

**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**:

- Office environment
- Overtime work as required.
- Minimal Travel
