We are currently looking for a local community focused On-Air Announcer in Kemptville, Ontario

Kemptville is a charming community nestled in the Municipality of North Grenville, located in Eastern Ontario. Situated in the northernmost part of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Kemptville offers a delightful blend of rural charm, historic heritage, and scenic waterways.

**Description**:

- Be part of the local and surrounding community
- Prepare show content and deliver a local radio show for our audience
- A storyteller with creative, compelling content
- Proactively finds local voices for interviews and to bring on air for morning show
- Gather local content for our media platforms
- Contributing to station social media pages and websites
- Making promotional appearances when required
- Committing to growth with regular air checks
- Liaising with clients and being an ambassador for the Radio Station
- Assisting sales by collaborating on creative promotions
- Voice tracking additional shifts for other stations and dayparts
- Voicing commercials for Vista properties

**Key Requirements**:

- Radio broadcasting experience
- Loves conversations on air that creates community superstars
- Become an ambassador for the station and lean into opportunities to be a part of the community
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Absorb learning and work to become a self-starter
- Strong teamwork and collaboration, able to take direction and coaching from leaders and colleagues
- Remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines and build skills to work within a fast-paced environment both individually and with a team
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be committed to living and working in the community
- Working familiarity with Adobe Audition, Enco, video editing is an asset
