**Overview**Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy-duty rock trucks in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety protocols and guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including checking oil, fuel, and other fluids, as well as performing basic repairs
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor or manager
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly
- Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- Work collaboratively with other members of the construction team, including project managers, engineers, and other equipment operators
- Operate other heavy equipment, as needed and directed by the supervisor or manager

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including rock trucks
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Willingness to work outdoors, in various weather conditions, and in remote locations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders and stairs as needed
