**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Acquisitions, the Acquisitions Analyst will be working closely with our Development team and key stakeholders in the Accounting, Property Management, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Construction teams to provide support with financial analysis, market research, and the end to end acquisitions process. Key responsibilities of the role involve assistance in creating and conducting financial analysis, market research and due diligence to determine the feasibility of potential acquisitions.

**What You'll Do**
- Assist with financial analysis of ongoing and prospective developments and acquisitions. Prepare proformas and reports to summarise financial feasibility.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, comparative sales values, market rents, costs, the competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities in different markets.
- Using similar above strategies to help identify target markets and potential investment opportunities.
- Support the due diligence process through the review and summation of Title documents, legal documents, lease agreements and consultants’ reports.
- Prepare investment summaries, presentations, and other materials to effectively explain findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, the brokerage community and external consultants including Development, Finance, and Legal, to find new opportunities and support the due diligence, and closing process.

**What you bring to the team**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate, finance, consulting, or related field with equivalent years of similar experience.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a strong skillset in financial modeling
- Strong Excel skills demonstrated through experience creating complex proformas and financial models for development projects and income producing properties.
- Knowledge of real estate valuation techniques, investment principles, and market analysis is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deliverables simultaneously.

**Salary**:
The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, and years of relevant experience.
