**Qualifications**:

- At least 19 years of age
- CannSell Ontario Standard Certificate (must be submitted prior to first day of work)
- Criminal Record Check (must be submitted prior to first day of work)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 2-3+ years of customer service experience
- Be positive, approachable and friendly
- Have a strong work ethic, be responsible and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience with cannabis retail is an asset, but not required
- Be open to feedback, coaching and continuous improvement
- Experience with GreenLine and Dutchie is an asset, not required
- Must be punctual and have reliable transportation to and from work

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers upon entering the store and ask for proper identification.
- Engage in conversation with customer to understand specific wants/needs
- Educate customers on cannabis products
- Promote a positive culture and our brand
- Work in partnership with Manager and other team members to generate sales
- Be a team player by contributing to a positive atmosphere in the store
- Assist with store maintenance which includes stocking shelves, merchandising, cleaning and sanitizing to ensure the store is always an inviting place to enter
- Handle all Point of Sale (POS) transactions ensuring compliance with all store operating procedures and regulations
- Handle all Online Sales which includes using Dutchie to receive, prepare and execute online sales
- Help ensure daily reconciliation of inventory and following up with customers regarding any product or service discrepancies
- Participate and complete all store opening/closing checklists
- Stay up to date with all products offered within the store as well as any new products or promotions that may be offered in the future

**COVID-19 Measures**:
At Coconut Cannabis, we realize that we are working through unprecedented times and take the current pandemic very seriously. Thus, we expect the following safety measures to be enforced and followed by both staff and customers:

- Mask/faceshields must be worn by all staff while strongly urging customers to do the same while shopping in store.
- Regular and thorough cleaning/disinfecting protocols are always mandatory in the store with high touch and high traffic areas being cleaned on an ongoing basis throughout business hours.
- Physical distancing in place at all times as well as a maximum number of entrants in the store to ensure customer safety.
- Provide hand sanitizer in several areas of the store for all employees and customers

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18-25 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
