**Job Purpose**

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing project controls activities to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to budgetary and scheduling requirements within the organization.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Display a commitment to uphold and convey the company’s values, culture, and internal vision to all stakeholders.
- Compile and analyze Labor, Equipment, and Materials (LEMs) in collaboration with the Projects team to produce accurate billings.
- Audit project reports to verify accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and project requirements.
- Generate scheduled reports on project progress, cost tracking, and other key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Track project costs and expenses, monitoring budget allocations and identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Work with the Projects team to maintain and innovate project controls processes and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in project management practices.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies in project controls operations.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Support internal stakeholders by providing guidance and training on project controls processes and tools.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in project controls and management.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project controls, project management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office including; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Familiarity with relevant software programs, such as SAGE 300 ERP and Bluebeam, is an asset.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMI-SP, AACE CCP, PSP) are preferred.
- Knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change management.

**Working Conditions**

The incumbent is required to work in an office environment with moderate noise. The job may require the incumbent to walk stairs; be outside in inclement weather (slippery surfaces and cold); carrying objects, driving and being exposed to normal office routines.

**Physical Requirements**

The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal for extended periods of time; and extensive reading. The incumbent is also required to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $53,959.20-$111,884.88 per year
