Pacer Building Components is hiring an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our amazing team in Ilderton, Ontario (London). Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing assistance for all shipping and logistic functions at the operational unit(s) assigned
- Provide assistance to the Delivery Team
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of product for customers
- Track, monitor and manage all material movement within the yard
- Assist with all major project and implementations related to logistics, shipping and inventory required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers and co-workers
- Act as liaison between Operations and Customers
- Employ productive, proactive and effective conflict resolution strategies
- Ensure clear, accurate and timely communication remains top priority
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES**:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent;
- 2-4 years of experience in a logistics coordinator or shipping coordinator role in a fast-paced industry;
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a high-pressure environment;
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to provide clear, concise, and detailed instruction to multiple stakeholders;
- Ability to monitor and manage a dynamic and busy lumber yard;
- Experience coordinating production and delivery timelines between multiple departments;
- Experience providing leadership and direction to a team of people primarily working offsite;
- Experience in optimized geographical delivery planning;
- Experience with growing companies supporting builders, construction, or multi-site manufacturing organizations will be favorably viewed;
- Fluency in English in written, reading, and oral communication (speed, accuracy, and proper expression),
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel;
- Ability to provide a current Police or RCMP Criminal Record Check.
