The Days Inn & Suites - Edmonton Airport Hotel located in the Leduc-Nisku region.

Currently looking for an enthusiastic and exciting part-time and full-time Guest Service Agent to join our team The Guest Service Agent must represent the hotel through excellence in guest services and possess a complete knowledge of all aspects of the front office, the hotel, the city and its attractions.

Experience in customer service is an asset.

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

**Purpose of the position**

The Guest Services Agent is a key member of the Guest Services team responsible for attending to the guests of the hotel, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services. You must have a positive and professional upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.

**Responsibilities & duties**
- Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests
- Provide information to guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities
- Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs of guests daily
- Make reservations over the phone and in person and ensure all aspects of the room reservation procedure are followed
- Entering/changing reservation information in the computer system
- Anticipate and address all guest’s service needs
- Listening to guest’s complaints or concerns and resolving their issue in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Maintaining daily logs
- Counting and balancing cash, credit cards, and direct billed rooms
- Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring it balances at the end of your shift
- Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies and make adjustments or corrections as needed
- Post any transactions needed
- Produce daily reports for the Audit team
- Monitor room inventory and guest credit limit throughout all shifts
- Recognize and follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent communication and work collaboratively with all coworkers and supervisors to continually enhance and advance the hotel’s goals and operations
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
- Cleaning the front desk area and ensure lobby area is tidy at all times
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

- Day shift

- Weekend availability

Plexiglas is currently in place at front desk. Common surfaces are sanitized regularly. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided for employees and Guests. Following all municipal, federal and brand standards.
