Industrial Painter/sandblaster

**Job description**
- **This is afternoon shift position.**_

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyze blueprints and engineering drawings to assess areas to blast and coat with primer.
- Operate light machinery, power tools and hand tools, blaster and paint gun.
- Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
- Ensure products are produced to specification.
- Accurately record time to work orders.
- Perform all functions of the job safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- Experience in a production environment and/or with plastics and rubber is an asset
- Ability to keep up in a face paced environment.
- Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal skills and be highly organized.
- Able to read and interpret blue prints, drawings and general work instructions
- Able to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.
- Possesses manual dexterity, attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Able to prioritize and maintain productivity levels as specified.
- Have the understanding and ability to paint in a 2 part system.
