**Responsibilities**:
- Installing, calibrating, testing, operating, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining instrumentation, measurement, and meter proving equipment;- Ensuring all measurement equipment meets company and industry regulatory standards;- Ensuring integrity and accuracy of all daily, weekly, monthly system receipts, throughput, delivery, and inventory data;- Maintaining EFM equipment and Plains batch ticketing equipment and software;- Working within pipeline/truck terminal operations, providing project support, and operating (or training to operate) a meter prover and all associated equipment, including a Class 3 vehicle;- Managing meter proving activities in accordance with Plains Operations Management System (OMS) requirements and assisting in gathering meter data and tracking key measurement parameters;- Completing and assessing meter proving reports and instrument calibrations per maintenance schedules and on an as-needed basis;- Creating, maintaining, and distributing measurement schematics;- Providing on-call and overtime coverage as required; and- Remaining motivated, energetic, and communicative.

Qualifications:
- Certified Interprovincial Journeyperson—Instrumentation Technician, Journeyman Industrial Electrician, or Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) is considered an asset;- 3-5 years’ experience in measurement systems for oil and gas, instrumentation calibration, meter proving and custody transfer measurement/allocation systems;- Working knowledge of a wide variety of measurement-related equipment;- Experience with maintenance management systems (e.g., Maximo);- Thorough understanding of applicable codes of practice, regulations, and standards;- Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, and Excel);- Strong written/verbal communication skills;- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as with a variety of individuals in a busy field environment;- Permanent residence within 100 km radius of the Buck Creek field office;- Cleared criminal history (background) check and satisfactory reference checks;- Compliance with the company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy; and- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.Our employees drive our success.
