**TASKS AND DUTIES**:
Seeks direction from and reports directly to the Technical Director.

Completes tasks and duties as assigned and directed by the Technical Director/ Senior Quality control technician.

**General Duties**:

- Sample products daily using established methods and SOPs, recording and reporting information on the process and final products
- Run various QC tests and procedures on construction sealants/ adhesives.
- Completes and/or reviews documentation entries in batch record and logbooks.
- Evaluate data and submit to the Senior Quality Control Technician to prepare quality control documents as required.
- Confirm quality of finished products for final release.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
- Maintain all documentation for the purposes of auditing
- Quarantine non-conforming products discovered during the production process.
- Manage quality control retains and archived QC records.
- Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist to maintain a clean, well stocked, and organized laboratory.
- Performs other QC related duties as required by supervisor.
- Responsibilities and Expectations:

- Constant updating of job knowledge through reading technical publications, participating in seminars, and other educational opportunities.
- Recommend modifications to already existing production standards within the limits of capacity and capability to improve performance
- Understand the theory involved with new product technologies as they pertain to NUCO products.
- Suggest improvements to S.O.P.s where applicable.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: 0-1 year Quality Control experience in sealants/ adhesives or equivalent an asset.
- Education: High school completion, college certification/ diploma or working towards completion.
- Communication: Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to various levels of technicality.
- Attention to Detail: Accurately identify the importance of tasks and to ensure compliance. Motivation: Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Problem Solving: Identifying the nature of a problem and suggest win-win solution.
- Critical Thinking: Using logic and technical analysis to identify the best possible approach. Active Learning: Working with new materials or information and grasping its implications. Implementation Planning: Develop approaches for successfully implementing an idea. Time Management: Managing and respecting one's own time as well as others involved. Computer Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Physical Requirements: Be able to sit or stand for extended periods, navigate a manufacturing facility or devote considerable visual attention to detail reading work related materials.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
