**Classification**: Full time and part time seasonal positions (must be available to work
early mornings, days, and some weekends)

**Summary**:
Turf Technicians are the primary caretakers of the golf course and perform a wide
variety of tasks. These tasks range from the operation of light equipment to manual
maintenance and construction tasks. Equipment operation includes everything from
running light utility vehicles, to mowing tees, greens, rough and fairways. Manual tasks
include digging, edging, weed control, raking, and general clean up.

**Responsibilities**:
Cutting grass and general maintenance of the golf course- Safely operate and maintain working order of equipment and machinery
- Must be available to work some weekends (3hrs)
- Aid in maintaining the irrigation system
- Assist superintendent and assistant superintendent with any tasks required for

the maintenance of the course

**Qualifications**:
Golf course maintenance experience not necessary but an asset- Excellent time management skills
- Pesticide license not required but an asset
- Mechanical background an asset but not required
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Reliable transportation
- Physically fit to handle manual labor and work in all types of weather conditions
