We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Duties**:

- Assist individuals with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide assistance with dementia care for individuals with memory loss
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care

Qualifications:

- **MUST HAVE PSW CERTIFICATE FROM ONTARIO COLLEGE**
**- MUST HAVE TB VACCINATION**
**- MUST HAVE CPR CERTIFCATE**
**- MUST HAVE VULNERABLE SECTOR CLEARANCE (NO OLDER THAN 6MONTHS)**:

- Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and senior care practices
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and nursing homes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Experience in dementia care is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals and their families
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Valid driver's license is preferred
