**Overview of Position**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Increase social media presence and reach including public engagement via multiple social media platforms, this will include replying to all incoming social media messaging.
- Consistent post creation for multiple social media platforms and proven ability to create creative Reels, TikTok video’s, You Tube Shorts.
- Use a variety of tools for new and modern post creation
- Create, prepare, schedule, and post short effective ads for all social media platforms
- Promote and increase the reach of the Cobra Brand via social media outlets and engagement
- Operate the Drone to capture video for editing and advertising
- Prepare internal marketing materials including video and print creation
- Be willing to travel to capture video or photos of worksites to be used in advertising and promoting Cobra Brands.
- Create digital marketing ads
- Schedule and maintain a calendar of current and upcoming posts and advertisements for approval
- Prepare print marketing where required

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Must be a graduate of Creative Communications or other related relevant post-secondary marketing education program, plus 1 - 2 years of experience
- Social Media Experience with a strong background in building short effective ads for social media platforms including Instagram reels and editing is a must, Facebook, LinkedIn, You Tube Shorts, TikTok etc.
- Experience in creating internal marketing such as print materials and video
- Experience with promoting Brands through social media platforms
- Adobe Suite experience with - Video, Photo edit, Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom
- Google suite including analytics
- Photo / Video capturing and editing
- Print Marketing experience
- Must have a strong English background including written and verbal skills to prepare internal and external documents, for posts, replies to the public through social engagement, and be prepared for public speaking where required
- Organized with experience in scheduling and maintaining a posting schedule
- History of working with First Nations or proven history of Post Secondary education with First Nations, Indigenous, Inuit, Metis, programs, and courses etc.
- Must Possess a valid driver's license

**Other Qualifications considered an asset**:

- Experience with WordPress, or other CMS
- Drone experience and Drone license will be considered an asset
- Digital Marketing experience is considered an asset
- Self-starter who can work on their own with little supervision, and be willing to learn and take on new assignments independently

**Work conditions**:
Ability to work hybrid, overtime may be required, phone and other equipment associated with the trade, noise from office equipment, onsite noise associated with the trade. Travel may be required, ability to attend and/or conduct presentations, manual dexterity required to use desktop computer, cameras and peripherals, sustain long amounts of time standing, walking, and sitting, lifting and / or moving over 10 lbs may be required.
