Alloy Casting is a custom stainless and steel foundry providing complex cast components along with value added services to a variety of industrial markets including oil and gas, hydro electric and water treatment. We are a privately held manufacturing company of approximately 50 employees located 20 minutes west of Kitchener-Waterloo.

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to be a key part of our team.

**Job title**: Inside Sales/Order desk

**Responsibilities include**:

- First point of contact in the sales cycle, and continuing through to receipt of order
- Initiation of quotes within data base
- Dealing with subcontractors to obtain pricing to meet bid package specifications
- Co-ordinate internal costing
- Data base management - Including document control
- Follow up on outstanding quotes
- Scheduling of new orders
- Respond to customer requests displaying sense of enthusiasm and urgency appropriate to customer expectations.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

“A People person”- Enjoy dealing with a variety of people in person and over the phone

Excellent customer service and communication skills - Verbal and written

Organized self-starter with high attention to detail

Proficiency with Microsoft office including Word and Excel

Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat

Ability to read drawings would be beneficial

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple demands and changing priorities
