Currently seeking to add a **SCRAPER OPERATOR **to our team.

**Title**: Scraper Operator

**Location**: Edmonton, AB

**Position Type**: Full Time Seasonal

**Reporting To**: Foreman

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Operate scraper in a safe and efficient manner to meet production deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip/walk around inspections
- Check fluids daily, fill as required
- Stripping, land clearing, cutting to specified grades
- Interpret grade stakes and have a basic understanding of construction layout
- Confidently operate scraper in close proximity to ground personnel, other mobile equipment, and other obstructions
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report/log any maintenance requirements
- Understand, interpret and follow direction from supervisor
- Follow all health and safety policies and conduct work that follows all OH&S requirements

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Previous experience as a scraper operator considered an asset
- Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices
- Ability to work weekends and overtime shifts when required
- Must have own means of transportation
- Valid class 5 driver's license
