**Hours**
- Contract position from October 1 to Jan 15th
- Monday to Friday, 8:40am to 4:00pm
- Shift moves to Tuesday to Saturday 8:30 to 4:00pm

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Performs front reception office duties.
- Answers and screens telephone calls
- Directs, answers, and resolves general enquiries.
- Greets, assists, and escorts visitors in the reception area.
- Photocopies and distributes materials as requested.
- Assist MU Leaders with maintaining MU contact lists, including suppliers, community partners, leases, etc.
- Handles donations and prepares receipts for customers/donors.
- Maintains databases as required.
- Assisting Community Engagement & Volunteer Coordinator with organizing and managing of kettle campaign
- Recruiting kettle volunteers and kettle shift scheduling
- Travelling to kettle locations and filling the shift in absence of a volunteer
- Assisting with mail appeal
- Performs other duties as assigned according to Kettle Campaign task list.

**Financial Administration**
- Process monetary donations (including cash, cheque, debit/credit card) and identify store donations, issue temporary receipts to donors.
- Issue thank you letters to tax receipts, mail the tax receipts with the letter to donors.
- May issue tax receipts in Shelby
- Maintain tax receipt log updated.
- Review Thrift Store sales reports and supporting documentation to identify donations requiring receipting, and scan sales documents to WRAC at least weekly.
- Assist officer in recording, tracking, and reconciling incoming and outgoing gift cards at the end of each month.
- Assist with creating, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on financial results and thrift store sales analyses.
- Support all departments with daily user technical support and cloud-based document management and liaise with IT Service Desk when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Corps Officers.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Completion or working towards a formal post-secondary/college/University program of two academic years in either, social services, business, economics, administration, and equivalent work experience.

**Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements**
- A minimum of two years of general related experience.
- An alternative combination of education and experience might be considered.

- Background check consent.
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.
