We are seeking a seasoned **Autonomy Project Team Lead **to join our team to help us deliver new capabilities for the **Cat® MineStar on-board **products. This role offers remote work and a flexible schedule and is attached to our office in Laval, Quebec, Canada. It focuses on leading a global team of QA and System test team members to test, integrate and deliver, in an agile environment, a quality and differentiated product value to our customers.

**JOB **DESCRIPTION**:
This role is a combination of hardware and software QA and system validation leadership, technical leadership, and individual contributor activities. Project Management, strong organizational and communication skills are critical.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Engage with multiple development teams to ensure the validation team have proper understanding of the customer problems and value
- Provide a voice to validation team during DFMEA effort
- Develop high level validation plans
- Optimize validation effort
- Prioritize testing activities across multiple teams
- Follow up on test progression across multiple teams
- Sponsor continuous processes improvements
- Ensure proper root cause analysis are in place to address coverage gap
- Provide direction on test automation effort
- Represent validation team in complex issue investigation/troubleshooting
- Provide technical guidance
- Monitor and report on team members performance
- Remove roadblock encountered by team members
- Provide a supportive work environment for the teams, mentor, coach and develop others
- Manage scope change, track, and mitigate technical program risk with the global delivery teams

**REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technologist degree (Electrical, Software, Computer) or 15+ years of relevant domain experience
- 10+ yrs of experience in QA, validation of software intensive products, including embedded systems
- 4+ yrs of experience in project/validation leadership role and in Agile development environment
- Strong teamwork, communication (written and verbal) and decision-making skills
- Bilingual (English & French)

**DESIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Hands-on experience with Cat® MineStar and Cat® MineStarEdge platforms
- Experience with GPS positioning, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, SSL.
- Experience with Linux operating system.
- Experience with mining, industrial or automotive systems integration, verification, and validation

**RESPONSABILITÉS **PRINCIPALES**:

- S’engager avec plusieurs équipes pour s’assurer que l’équipe de validation comprend les besoins clients et leur valeur
