Soils and Aggregate Supervisor

**Summary**:
The successful applicant would be responsible for the extraction of raw materials, processing into finished products, and loading/shipping of such products. This person would report to the General Manager and President.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage raw materials used in production
- Manage inventories of finished products for sale
- Ensure equipment is operating in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are employed
- Involved in development of production goals and performance markers
- Involved in reporting of all production records
- Engaged in Modular Training programs
- Involved in the maintenance of aggregates related equipment

**Requirements**:
The successful applicant would be required to have:

- Aggregate resource extraction experience
- Completion of (or ability to complete) Supervisor (Program 770141) and related Surface Mining Modular Training Components (Program 770210)
- Advanced heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience
- Willingness to work varied hours due to inclement weather
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a group atmosphere
- Organized

**Recommendations**:
The successful applicant would be recommended to have:

- Working knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act, specifically Regulation 854
- G class licence required, AZ/DZ licence preferred

**Compensation**:
Compensation based on qualifications and previous experience.
