**_ What will you be doing?_**

**JOB OVERVIEW**

Manage all aspects of the food and beverage outlet daily and coordinate special events. Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures. Adhere to federal, provincial, and local regulations concerning health safety or other compliance requirements.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Develops short-term financial and operational plans for the restaurant, which support the overall objectives of the restaurant and the hotel.-
- Schedules employees at proper staffing levels; monitors labor costs daily to ensure efficiency in scheduling.-
- Ensures the restaurant adheres to all standards as determined by the brand or hotel franchise.-
- Conducts pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events and review daily specials.-
- Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival. Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Establish and implement appropriate service recovery guidelines to ensure total guest satisfaction.-
- Reviews performance evaluations recognize employees for outstanding services and disciplines employees.-
- Monitors performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial reports; initiates corrective action.-
- Inspects restaurant daily to ensure high-quality food and food presentation, cleanliness and side work duties completed.-
- Participates in monthly inventories and prepares beverage cost by section. Initiates programs to reduce breakage and loss in China, Glass, and Silver.-
- Create programs to increase sales through employee incentive plans and programs to increase customer satisfaction.-
- Maintains open lines of communication with all employees and departments.-
- Ensure all staff are properly trained and certified if applicable and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions.-
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.-
- Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress.-
- Follows company policies and procedures and can effectively communicate them to subordinates.-
- Recruits and staff department using company hiring standards (i.e., Behavioral questioning, evaluations, and team interviews).-
- Conducts training classes regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines.-
- May assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.-
- In carrying out your duties you will follow all Company and Brand Standards.**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. A hospitality Management Degree or some college is preferred.-
- This job requires the ability to perform the following:- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds-
- Moving about the outlet(s)-
- Handling objects, products-
- Bending, stooping, kneeling-
- Other:- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.-
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork, ordering, interpreting results, and giving and receiving instructions.-
- Leadership and attention to detail skills.-
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.-
