Prepare engagement deliverables (financial statements, letters, etc.).
- Review, investigate, and correct accounting and assurance engagement files and financial statements.
- Review of work in progress of assigned staff members. Maintain high-quality control when reviewing work done by other team members; provide feedback to team members.
- Assist with technical accounting issues and act as a point of contact for audit and accounting assistance.
- Prepare/review corporate and personal tax returns.
- Communicate and maintain relationships with clients, Canada Revenue Agency, lawyers, and bankers.
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
- Provide leadership both internally and externally: provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to assist in the development of team members; support in the efficient delivery of quality accounting services to clients; building a network of potential clients.
- Lead firm standards committee and Institute practice inspection.
- A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in public accounting.
- Completed their CPA designation.
- A strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- The ability to rally resources and work with others to meet client needs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, problem solving, and client relations skills.
- A commitment to grow your expertise through learning and professional development as a path to future leadership opportunities.
- Strong technical skills (working knowledge of CaseWare, CCH Taxprep, QuickBooks, and Simply Accounting is beneficial)

**Salary**: $77,459.84-$136,243.56 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- public accounting: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
