**All & Every** is a Special Education and Community supports business that is looking to expand its staff to support the growing demand for services in the Brockville / Kingston, Ontario area. Based in London, Ontario, All & Every serves a broad geographical region in special education tutoring, community supports, life skills training, and parent/guardian coaching and support.

**We are special education teachers who support Autistic people, people with special needs and their families.**
- Long term strategies for long term impact | _We work with individuals and their families & caretakers to bolster existing natural supports. We do this so that everyone in a special needs household is able to understand and use the specific techniques and tools that work without relying on external support 24/7. While we understand that many families require urgent assistance with specific tasks and academic challenges, we know from experience that a long-term strategy that can be used by everyone in the caretaking environment will have the greatest impact. That is why we require our clients to work collaboratively with us - we are providing a process rather than a product.

We help our adult clients to improve their daily living skills to achieve independence. These include practical skills such as personal care, occupational skills, use of money, safety, health care, travel/transportation, schedules/routines, and social interactions.Independent Living &
**Daily Living Skills**
As environments change, people must be able to learn new skills to meet the demands of the environment. These include interpersonal skills, social responsibility, self-esteem,)social problem solving, and avoiding being victimized.Caretaker Coaching & Advocacy
Parents, guardians and caretakers are fundamental support systems to Autistic people and people with special needs. We recognize that they require practical strategies and systems to implement beyond our time together.

**The Job**

The Special Education Tutor / Community Support Worker is responsible for establishing a schedule with their client, supporting their academic success, promoting independence and using their existing skills as an educator to maintain and increase motivation. Training and support are provided along the way.
- Have a positive attitude, be patient, organized, confident, creative, and kind
- Have excellent communication and listening skills
- Have experience working with unique learners in a 1:1 capacity
- Be able to provide vulnerable sector screening
- Have access to their own mode of transportation to travel to client's homes
- Be available to support students in the evenings and on weekends
- Reside in Brockville, Ontario or the surrounding area..

Educational Requirements:

- Post-Secondary Education (either completed or with an expected completion date) in a relevant field (e.g., Behavioural Studies, Autism Studies, Education, B.Ed., Special Education)
- Ontario College of Teacher's membership (OCT) (a bonus)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 2-4 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
