YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM
**YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM**:
The Production Planner will have to build and manage a production schedule according to priorities and available human and material resources. In addition, he/she will be in charge of communications with all parties involved in the process (customer service, estimating, production, etc.). Finally, he/she will actively participate in problem solving and continuous improvement of the department.
THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU

- Build production schedule for tapered projects;
- Evaluate the feasibility of projects in terms of inventory, schedule and production time;
- Assess priorities in collaboration with estimators, customer service, etc;
- Manage communications between production and various stakeholders;
- Monitor production progress and find solutions to discrepancies;
- Support inventory, production & customer service teams in operational processes;
- Organize and lead team meetings;
- Ensure order intake is consistent with plant production capacity;
- Handle special manufacturing requests;
- Ensure continuous improvement of the position (development of tools, modification of procedures, etc.);
- Create job-related training tools and train employees as required;
- Support the estimating team in resolving complaints and site problems;
- Other related duties.

THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**Your Academic background**
- Technical background in administration, planning or related field;
**Your Knowledge**
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in operations planning;
- Good command of written and spoken English;
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite.
**Your Skills and attitudes**
- Recognized for professionalism, judgment, initiative and attention to detail;
- Organizational skills and proactive behavior;
- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Good analytical skills;
