- We are looking for an enthusiastic **Industrial Janitor** to join our team This position will be responsible for keeping the building in a clean and orderly condition, and will perform heavy cleaning duties by operating a scissor lift and manual/powered handling equipment to wash walls and floors. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities and notifying management of the need for repairs.

**Responsibilities**
- Follow assigned cleaning schedule to clean the facility
- Clean facility using equipment such as a scissor lift to clean walls and rafters.
- Use manual or powered equipment to dust, sweep, vacuum, scrub, disinfect
- Clean facility equipment
- Wear required PPE, respirator, safety glasses, gloves and shoes
- Identify and communicate potential needs for repairs, safety or maintenance issues to supervisors
- Support maintenance department as required

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to be certified in Scissor Lift and Fall Arrest
- Ability to be certified in Working at Heights
- Forklift license and WHMIS training would be an asset
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be physically fit and able to operate heavy equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets would be an advantage
