**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist cooks in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and preparing sauces.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food handling practices meet health regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping track of food items.
- Support the kitchen team during service by preparing plates and assisting with food presentation.
- Participate in training sessions to learn about food safety, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards in the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with team members.
- A passion for cooking and eagerness to learn more about meal preparation and food handling practices.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in a kitchen setting.
