We are actively seeking a well-rounded Survey Technician to join our team. This individual will bring relevant training and experience and exhibits strong leadership qualities by means of a result driven work ethic. They will consistently be on construction site, and in office performing quantity survey and layout while actively working with team members from all levels of the company to ensure quality workmanship and positive results.

**Responsibilities**:

- Quality survey best practices
- Construction site survey and layout
- Digital terrain modeling and CAD drawing manipulation
- Quantity take offs and estimating support
- GPS machine control configuration and set up
- Daily interaction with Project Manager and Superintendents
- Survey equipment set up, use and configuration
- As-built drawings, development and progress contract updates

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1-2 years practical field work experience
- Quality calculation and survey experience
- CAD design and manipulation experience
- Valid drivers’ license
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge and experience in construction industry also considered an asset
- GPS and total station survey experience
- GPS machine controlled equipment experience, considered an asset

**Education**:

- Diploma or degree in survey and geomatics or engineering
- Equivalent combination of academic and practical experience will be considered

**Salary**: $24.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
